  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar for rolling
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon for rolling

  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • In a small bowl, mix 3 tablespoons granulated sugar and 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon.
  • Shape dough into 1-inch balls, roll in the cinnamon-sugar mixture, and place on baking sheets. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 8-10 minutes.
